The Jacksonville Women Lawyers Association wrapped up its 2021-22 year May 17.

Melissa Davenport, assistant director of graduate admission at the Jacksonville University College of Law, received the JWLA Woman Lawyer of the Year Award.

Davenport is former pro bono director at Jacksonville Area Legal Aid.

The Florida Association for Women Lawyers recognized two JWLA members: The statewide Jurist of the Year Award was presented to 4th Circuit Judge Angela Cox; and Adina Pollan, a Jacksonville Bar Association board member, was named a 2022 Leader in the Law.
