Circle K applies for Philips, Emerson construction

Chain also seeking a West Jacksonville site.

Circle K Stores Inc., based in Tampa, is seeking permits to build a convenience store and gas station at 3649 Philips Highway at an estimated construction cost of $2.1 million.

Plans show a 5,200-square-foot convenience store and 4,608-square-foot fuel canopy with seven fuel pumps on 1.48 acres. 

RDC of Reston, Virginia, is the architect, Kimley-Horn and Associates Inc. is the civil engineer. No contractor is listed.

The site is where Taco Bell closed.

Circle K seeks West Jacksonville site

Circle K Stores Inc. wants to build a 5,200-square-foot gas station and convenience store on 2.85 acres at northwest 103rd Street and Samaritan Way.

The city calculated a mobility fee of $385,106 for the project to mitigate the traffic impact.

Kimley-Horn and Associates Inc. is the civil engineer.

The site is east of Cecil Commerce Center Parkway.
