Chris Shee, founder and CEO of MasterCraftBuilder Group, is the Florida Home Builders Association 2022 Builder of the Year.
The Builder of the Year Award “recognizes a leader in the industry who continuously exhibits best practices, phenomenal leadership qualities, and expertise in the field,” according to the FHBA website.
The FHBA is associated with the National Association of Home Builders.
MasterCraft Builder also won the Northeast Florida Builders Association Builder of the Year award in 2012 and 2021.
Shee founded the company in 2011 and manages it with his brother, Brad Shee.
The company builds throughout St. Johns County, including in the Madeira, TrailMark, RiverTown and SilverLeaf communities.
Shee downplayed the individual recognition in a news release.
“The MasterCraft family deserves this award because without their hard work and dedication, I wouldn’t be able to focus on what matters most – philanthropy.”
Shee and his company have been involved with the Clays for a Cause and Concerts for a Cause fundraising events as well as contributing crews and money to various charities that build for the elderly, disabled and other nonprofits.
