CP Group announced Aug. 30 it signed two leases for almost 50,000 square feet of space at Prominence Office Park, its seven-building, 754,691-square-foot Jacksonville office development in the Baymeadows area of Jacksonville.

• AutoPoint, an auto dealership and service center software company, will move from its current 18,000 square feet in Building 600 to a 43,000-square-foot space in Building 100.

Solera Holdings LLC, a Texas-based venture that includes AutoPoint, said May 23 that new space in the Prominence office park will open in September and employ 300 people, with additional work-from-home opportunities. Solera Holdings maintains AutoPoint at Prominence.

The city is reviewing a permit application for a $3 million tenant build-out of 40,230 square feet of space on the third floor at 8900 Prominence Parkway for Solera Jacksonville.

Solera provides data and software services to the auto insurance industry.

• Olympus Insurance, a homeowners insurance provider, is relocating its headquarters from Boca Raton to occupy a 24,000-square-foot space at Building 600.

JAXUSA Partnership, the economic development division of JAX Chamber, announced Aug. 8 at its quarterly lunch that Olympus Insurance Co. is moving its headquarters to Jacksonville, where it will employ 200 people.

JLL Managing Directors Michael Loftin and Jesse Shimp are the leasing agents for the development and brokered both agreements.

“Our agreement with Olympus Insurance is a testament to Prominence’s appeal for companies seeking modern, highly accessible space for their corporate headquarters,” said Josh Edwards, senior vice president at CP Group, in the news release.

Edwards oversees the firm’s North and Central Florida portfolio.

“The park is one of the few projects that can support tenant’s growth with extensive expansion options, like with AutoPoint,” he said in the release.

CP, based in Boca Raton, said it invested $8 million in capital improvements and rebranding of the 54-acre office park, formerly Freedom Commerce Centre, including renovations to the lobbies and signage, build-out of a conference center for tenant use, and landscaping improvements.

The seven buildings range from 21,000 square feet to 160,000 square feet.

Campus amenities include an on-site cafe; rotating daily food trucks; walking trails; and the conference center.

Prominence Office Park is at Interstate 95, Baymeadows Road and Philips Highway.

CP, formerly known as Crocker Partners, said it has a corporate office in Atlanta and regional offices in Jacksonville, Dallas, Denver, Miami, and Washington, D.C.
