The city issued a permit April 11 for Construction Services Inc. to build-out space for Loomis Armored US LLC at a cost of almost $3.85 million in Imeson Landing Business Park in North Jacksonville.
Construction Services of Tampa will renovate 29,400 square feet of space at 1250 Imeson Park Blvd., No. 300.
Phil Durbin, vice president of projects with JLL in Houston, is the project manager.
He expects the project will be ready for Loomis to relocate from Spring Park in July.
Kimley-Horn and Associates Inc. is the civil engineer for the project, called Loomis Armored US Terminal Facility tenant renovation.
Developer Merritt Properties announced Sept. 27 that it signed Loomis US as its first tenant at Imeson Landing Business Park to expand local operations.
Houston-based Loomis provides cash-handling products and transit services to financial institutions and commercial and retail businesses nationwide.
It is visible with its armored vehicles.
Loomis US is an integrated cash distribution network with nearly 200 locations across the country that provide cash-handling products and services to financial institutions, retailers and other commercial businesses.
Merritt Properties said the new facility at Imeson Landing Business Park will allow Loomis to expand its services in the Jacksonville market.
Loomis now operates in Jacksonville at 3111 Spring Park Road near Emerson Street and Interstate 95.
Loomis Armored US LLC owns the 11,500-square-foot building on 1.2 acres. Property records show it as built in 1958.
Imeson Landing is at Imeson Park Boulevard and Zoo Parkway.
