Cigars and self-defense: New businesses opening at The Fountains at St. Johns

Six new firms to start in August and September in the shopping center.

A cigar lounge, hair salon and a martial arts school are among the businesses opening in August and September at The Fountains at St. Johns.

Developer Cross Regions Group announced the openings Aug. 3 in a news release.

The medical and retail development is at northeast County Road 210 West and Interstate 95 in St. Johns County.

Opening in August:

• Dapper D’s Cigar Lounge, the second location for the shop offering premium and boutique cigars. The first is in North Jacksonville near River City Marketplace.

• H2 Health St. Johns physical therapy, offering orthopedic therapy appointments. H2 Health says it has 18 locations in Northeast Florida.

• Scenthound St. Johns, a dog grooming service. The Scenthound franchise was founded in 2015. It announced in April it opened its 50th location.

• Salon Honey + Sage, a hair salon.

Opening in September:

• Apex Krav Maga, offering self-defense, athletic development and life skills training.

• 4Ever Young Anti-Aging Solutions. Its website says it’s a preventative health facility and offers Botox, CoolSculpting, vitamin injections and other services. It also has a location in Fleming Island.

More coming:

Under construction are Florida Eye Specialists and ENT Specialists of North Florida and a Jacksonville University educational facility, both planned to open in 2024.

Already open in the center Dolly Llama Waffle Master and JaxSpice at St. Johns.
