St. Johns Town Center announced Aug. 7 that activewear retailer Alo Yoga is now open.
The store at 4813 River City Drive, No. 119, is near Peloton and Gucci, the shopping center said in a news release. It is in the space vacated when White House Black Market was moved near Nordstrom.
Alo Yoga, created in 2007, stands for “air, land, ocean.” It is based in Beverly Hills, California.
The retailer’s website shows 42 stores in the U.S. and five in Canada. In addition to Jacksonville, there are Alo Yoga stores in Miami, Palm Beach Gardens and Tampa.
“Alo stores are more than just brick-and-mortar shopping experiences — they’re a manifestation of its mission to bring people together through movement and mindfulness,” the news release said.
The news release said Alo Yoga will offer in-store community events “to learn more about wellness practices from breathwork to ear seeding with experts.”
Alo Yoga calls itself a “premium lifestyle brand specializing in luxury activewear with a mission to spread mindful movement, inspire wellness and create community.”
