Rooker issued permit for $8 million Perimeter West distribution center

The Atlanta-based developer is building the 185,640-square-foot warehouse at northeast I-295 and Pritchard Road.

Atlanta-based developer Rooker is starting construction on Perimeter West Building 3 in Perimeter West Industrial Park in Northwest Jacksonville.

Catamount Constructors Inc. of Roswell, Georgia, is the contractor for the 185,640-square-foot warehouse on 13.1 acres at 4290 Perimeter Industrial Parkway at a project cost of $8.03 million. The city issued a building permit Aug. 28.

Perimeter West Building 3 is planned north of the Volkswagen building.

Piper O’Brien Herr Architects of Alpharetta, Georgia, is the architect. Almond Engineering of Jacksonville is the civil engineer.

Perimeter West Industrial Park is at northeast Interstate 295 and Pritchard Road. It is anchored by Volkswagen, Cardinal Health, Williams-Sonoma, The Home Depot and other distribution operations.

Real estate company JLL represents Rooker in leasing the building. The brochure says the project will be available in the fourth quarter of 2023.

JLL Executive Managing Director Luke Pope and Vice President Ross Crabtree are the leasing representatives.

Rooker is a full-service real estate development, design and construction firm specializing in the industrial segment.
