St. Johns County and the St. Johns River Water Management District are reviewing a proposed 4,400-square-foot ModWash automatic car wash facility at 259 Beachwalk Shore Drive in Beachwalk.
The project is planned on 1.15 acres.
ModWash is an express car wash that operates 63 locations in nine states with four more coming soon to enter Georgia and Virginia. It also has stores under construction in the nine states.
It has 12 locations open in Florida and six under construction. Beachwalk is not listed.
