City issues permit for Dolly Llama to build-out at eTown

The ice cream shop will open in Exchange East, where Publix opened in May. Mr. Chuy Taqueria and Cantina also coming.

The city issued a permit July 3 for ServiceMaster by PWF  to build-out space at eTown for The Dolly Llama Waffle Master at a project cost of $150,000.

ServiceMaster, of St. Augustine, will build-out 1,500 square feet of space at 11025 eTown Parkway, No. 204, in Exchange East in eTown Village Center, east of Florida 9B in southern Duval County.

Publix Super Markets opened May 6 to anchor the Exchange.

The PARC Group and Skinner Bros. Realty announced Aug. 5, 2022, that Mr. Chuy Taqueria and Cantina will open in fall 2023.

They followed up in October by announcing The Dolly Llama Waffle Master will open in the center in summer 2023. 

TheDollyLlamUS.com site shows it has a Northeast Florida shop in Ponte Vedra Beach. In addition to eTown, a location is “coming soon” to St. Augustine.

Mr. Chuy and The Dolly Llama ice cream shop are two of five tenants in a retail building next to Publix.

The city issued a permit June 5 for the Mr. Chuy Taqueria and Cantina build-out. RPC General Contractors Inc. of Atlantic Beach is the contractor for the $905,777 project in No. 203.

Mr. Chuy will lease 4,627 square feet of interior space and 1,619 square feet for outdoor dining in an end unit. 

There will be 262 seats, comprising 171 inside and 91 outdoors.

There are dining areas and a bar and bar seating.
