The city issued a permit July 10 for Andromeda Systems Inc. to build-out in Lake Gray Plaza at a project cost of $1.9 million.
Dav-Lin Interior Contractors will provide tenant alterations to the space at 6255 Lake Gray Blvd., Suites 1-4. Place Plan LLC is the space planner.
Geneva Gray LLC is the property owner.
Meek Development Group manages the property and is providing construction management for the project.
Group Director Craig Meek said July 11 construction completion is expected in mid-September.
Lake Gray is a two-building, 94,819-square-foot flex-office project at 6225 and 6255 Lake Gray Blvd. built in 1988 in south Duval County near the Clay County border. Foundry Commercial is the leasing broker.
Andromeda Systems Inc., known as ASI, now leases space at 330 Crossing Blvd. in Orange Park in Clay County.
It provides engineering, information technology, maintenance and training expertise to develop maintenance and support systems for plants, facilities, fleets and critical infrastructure. It also is a military contractor.

The company is based in Virginia Beach, Virginia, with a corporate office in Orange Park and offices in California, Maryland, North Carolina, Oklahoma and Virginia.
It opened in 2005 in Virginia Beach and in 2007 in Orange Park.
