Harbinger Sign and Florida Mining Gallery are moving to Springfield.

Apopka-based V 3 Shad Road Industrial LLC bought the sign company’s building on 6 acres at 5300 Shad Road in Mandarin for $9,675,000, according to a deed and a mortgage executed July 12 with the Duval County Clerk of Courts.

Sunwest Bank of Irvine, California, wrote the mortgage for $7,312,500.

Roger S. Williams LLC sold the property.

The deed and mortgage were recorded July 14 with the Duval County Clerk of Courts.

V 3 Shad Road Industrial LLC is part of V 3 Capital Group.

The 60,000-square-foot building was developed in 2002.

“It’s good to get out of that old building,” Harbinger owner Steve Williams said July 14.

Harbinger Sign owner Steve Williams said his company plans to move to Springfield.

The family sign-making business started in 1963 and moved into the building along Shad Road in 2010.

Williams said he is moving the operation to Springfield into one of two buildings he is considering.

“We thought about going Downtown, but Downtown is sold out, and Springfield is practically Downtown,” Williams said.

He said he expects to decide on the new location and close the purchase by the end of August and then move into the new facility in about six months.
