Gov. Ron DeSantis appointed one and reappointed two Jacksonville attorneys to judicial nominating commissions, the governor’s office announced July 14.
Adam Brandon, an attorney at Rogers Towers, was reappointed to the 5th District Court of Appeal Judicial Nominating Commission. His term ends July 1, 2027. He received a bachelor’s degree from Wheaton College, a master’s degree from the U.S. Naval War College and his juris doctor from the University of Notre Dame.
Patrick Joyce, an attorney at Milam Howard Nicandri & Gillam, was reappointed to the 4th Circuit Judicial Nominating Commission for a term ending July 1, 2027. He received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida, a master’s degree from the University of Idaho and his J.D. from Florida Coastal School of Law.
Alan Mizrahi, an assistant state attorney for the 4th Judicial Circuit, was appointed to the 4th Circuit Judicial Nominating Commission for a term ending July 1, 2026. He received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida and a J.D. from the University of Miami.
