Angie’s Subs, the Jacksonville Beach-based sub shop described as having a cult-like following, is opening at Jacksonville International Airport.
A July 27 presentation by Jacksonville Aviation Authority Properties Manager Jeff Taylor showed the quick-service restaurant is planned in Concourse A post-security.
The JAA said the Angie's will seat 10 and open in early 2024.
The airport has been adding area restaurants.
Southern Grounds & Co. opened its pre-security restaurant July 24. The Jacksonville-based coffee shop and restaurant concept also has a location past the security area.
Wine bar operator Vino Volo will add an expanded wine concept as well as add a new Verdi Market.
Verdi Market will feature Jacksonville-based Pura Bean Coffee Co. with fresh bakery and grab-and-go items.
Firehouse Subs, which started in Jacksonville, also has an airport location.
