The Women’s Board of Wolfson Children’s Hospital announced its speaker lineup for the 2023-24 Florida Forum Speaker Series.
Former Duke University men’s basketball coach Mike Krzyzewski will kick off the forum Nov. 8, according to a June 13 news release.
Krzyzewski was head coach at Duke from 1980 to 2022, leading the Blue Devils to five national titles, 13 Final Fours, 15 Atlantic Coast Conference tournament championships and 13 ACC regular season titles.
Steve Wozniak, technology entrepreneur and philanthropist, is scheduled Jan. 17.
In 1976, he co-founded Apple Computer with his late business partner, Steve Jobs. Through his work at Apple in the 1970s and 1980s, Wozniak is recognized as one of the pioneers of the personal computer revolution.
Retired Adm. James Stavridis, who received numerous U.S and international medals and decorations while serving for 37 years in the U.S. Navy, will close out the series Feb. 26.
Stavridis was commander of the United States Southern Command from 2006 to 2009 and commander of the United States European Command and NATO Supreme Allied Commander Europe from 2009 to 2013.
The Florida Forum hosts speakers annually to raise awareness and funds for Wolfson Children’s Hospital of Jacksonville.
Each program begins at 7 p.m. at the Jacksonville Center for the Performing Arts.

The Women’s Board has committed to raise $1.5 million by 2024 for a new Kids Kare Mobile ICU, a Neonatal and Pediatric Critical Care Transport vehicle, including equipment and services necessary for the operation of the ambulance.
Wolfson Children’s Hospital is the only full-service hospital for children in the region. Kids Kare vehicles and helicopters transport more than 2,250 infants and children a year to the hospital for emergency critical care, trauma and specialty care.
