Caliber Collision is renovating a former Pep Boys location at 10548 Atlantic Blvd., at Interstate 295.
The city issued a permit June 7 for Capitol Construction Solutions Inc. of Plainfield, Illinois, to renovate 10,000 square feet of space at a project cost of $899,892.
Caliber will use the facility for an automobile collision repair and paint facility.
Caliber Collision, which generally has been leasing and converting second- or later-generation space, has at least 10 centers in the area.
Bret Flory Architect of Plano, Texas, is the architect.
The building, developed in 1989, is about 20,000 square feet in total area.
The property owner is National Retail Properties LP in Orlando.
