Mandarin Landing renovations begin

Owner Regency Centers is making changes at the shopping center.

Mandarin Landing renovations are starting.

The city issued a permit June 7 for North Coast Construction Co. to renovate the facade at 10601 San Jose Blvd., Building 200, for Baptist Health at a construction cost of $1.33 million.

Design Cooperative LLC is the architect. Regency Centers Corp. is the owner. 

Regency Centers is removing about 20,500 square feet of space and adding up to 16,800 square feet among two new buildings. The total center is 140,021 square feet.

Baptist Health will lease the closed Office Depot.
