St. Johns County is reviewing a master development plan application for a 102-room hotel in Nocatee previously identified as a Hampton Inn & Suites.

Michael O’Steen, The PARC Group director of planning and development, said June 27 that PARC Group previously announced that construction of a Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton is scheduled to begin in the Nocatee Town Center this summer.

PARC, the Nocatee developer, said the six-story hotel will feature 105 rooms.

O’Steen said June 27 he had no additional information.

The June 21, 2023, application to St. Johns County does not identify the brand.

A Hampton Inn is planned at northeast Village Lake Drive and Town Plaza Avenue.

The application shows that property owner TC Development LLC, which is affiliated with the Davis family, proposes the use of 2.86 acres at northeast Village Lake Drive and Town Plaza Avenue for the hotel and an outparcel.

The master development plan shows the undeveloped site at 680 Crosswater Parkway.

The hotel is planned on 2.1 acres and the outparcel is 0.76 acres.

Connelly & Wicker Inc. is the civil engineer.

The property is in the commercial area of the Nocatee development.

JEA issued a service availability letter April 10 for a six-story, 105-room Hampton Inn & Suites on 3 acres at in the master-planned community in Northern St. Johns and Southern Duval counties. A plan identified it as a Hampton Inn.

Plans indicate the hotel will have a pool.

TC Development is shown as the hotel developer on the master site plan filed with the JEA request.

The Davis family, founders of the Winn-Dixie grocery chain, owns the property and is working with The PARC Group, which is the Nocatee master developer.

Nocatee is along Nocatee Parkway between U.S. 1 and the Intracoastal Waterway in Northern St. Johns County. Its address is Ponte Vedra.
