Construction is underway on the first self-storage facility in SilverLeaf, the master-planned community in St. Augustine.
According to a news release, CubeSmart Self Storage will manage the 90,000-square-foot center, which will comprise 660 climate-controlled storage units from 25 to 300 square feet.
The center is on 2.6 acres at Silverleaf Parkway and Courtney Vista Drive. It is projected to open in 2024.
The project is being developed by Courtney Vista Storage LLC, a joint venture between Hutson Real Estate Investments, The Silverfield Group and Skinner Bros. Realty,
Cody Hutson of The Hutson Companies, the master developer of Silverleaf and a partner in the self-storage project, said the facility will bring a “valuable service to the neighborhood.”
Farmer Architecture designed the facility, Connelly & Wicker served as the civil engineer, and Birchmier Construction is the general contractor.
