UF Health Jacksonville continues to build emergency and urgent care centers in Northeast Florida.

It opened its facility at 888 Lane Ave. S. in West Jacksonville on April 14.

The others are at 11251 Lamb Tail Lane in Baymeadows and 11277 New Kings Road in Northwest Jacksonville.

The ER-urgent care centers are operated in a partnership with Dallas-based Intuitive Health.

“Our first two centers have been extremely well-received by the community because of the unique services they provide and the level of care for those who need it close to their home,” said Russ Armistead, CEO of UF Health Jacksonville, in a news release.

The hybrid facilities, which combine emergency rooms with urgent care centers, allow patients to be treated in one building in an effort to streamline care.

The centers are open 24 hours a day all year. Each has a radiology suite, CT scanners and X-ray equipment.

Intuitive Health developed combined emergency and urgent care facilities. The company works with hospitals throughout Florida.

The UF Health centers are its first in Northeast Florida.
