The city issued permits Nov. 2-3 for Gate Petroleum Co. to build a Gate Express Carwash in Southside Quarter at a cost of $2 million.
Gate’s BFC Property Holdings LLC will develop the 5,100-square-foot car wash on 1.81 acres at 7575 Gate Parkway. The site is at northeast Gate Parkway and Burnt Mill Road.
Tim Young Construction Inc. of Jacksonville is the contractor.
BFC Holdings paid almost $1.9 million for the land Sept. 2, 2022, in a purchase from S-15 Land Holdings LLC, affiliated with Southside Quarter developer, Hines.
Southside Quarter is at southwest Butler Boulevard and Interstate 295.
