An oceanfront home in Ponte Vedra Beach sold Nov. 15 for $13.2 million.

James Pearl, trustee of the James Pearl Revocable Trust of Ponte Vedra, bought the property from John D. Baker II and Ann D. Baker of Jacksonville through the John D. Baker II Revocable Living Trust.

The 5,391-square-foot home sits on 0.26 acre at 529 Ponte Vedra Blvd.

Baker II is the CEO of FRP Holdings Inc of Jacksonville.

The two-story home, which was built in 2021, has five bedrooms, four full and two half-baths. It has two attached garages and a saltwater pool.

The house listed in August for $14.85 million, according to Zillow.com.

The Bakers bought the home in October 2015 for $2.85 million from the Richard T. Olsen Living Trust. The previous home on the property was demolished.

On October 12, John D. Baker III, CFO and treasurer of FRP Holdings Inc. and Baker II’s son, purchased the home at 631 Beach Ave. in Atlantic Beach between Sixth and Seventh streets for $9.3 million. That sale set the record for the highest price paid for a home in Duval County.
