Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen intends to build a restaurant at 6781 Dunn Ave. on an outparcel at Dunn Village.

The city issued a permit Sept. 7 for Sierra Construction Co. Inc. of Kennesaw, Georgia, to build a 2,514-square-foot restaurant and drive-thru for Popeyes at the site at a project cost of $900,000.

A JEA service availability request shows the 2,500-square-foot restaurant on an 0.89-acre site in front of the shopping center at Dunn Avenue and New Kings Road in Northwest Jacksonville.

A flyer for Dunn Village shows the 0.89-acre site – Outparcel F – as sold. It is next to the AutoZone site.

DD&L Associates II LLC of Rochester, New York, bought the site Dec. 1, 2022, for $450,000. The LLC is affiliated with retail developer Lane, Lane, Dworkin Enterprises, a family-owned real estate development group.

Saglo Development of Miami is the landlord.
