BOTE, a water sports shop, announced Sept 26 the opening of its store at 2655 Park St. in Riverside.
The 3,746-square-foot store offers paddleboards, kayaks, floats and other accessories.
Zack Eckert, vice president of sales at BOTE, called Jacksonville a “picturesque paddling haven.”
“This new location serves as a valuable resource for everything paddleboarding, kayaking, and the water lifestyle,” he said in a news release. “Our dedicated team is here to be your personal guides, ensuring you find the perfect gear to ignite new passions and take your existing ones to new heights.”
It is the sixth Florida location for the chain with locations in Destin, Fort Lauderdale, Fort Walton Beach, Grayton Beach and St. Petersburg.
The shop is in the former Timed:Exercise fitness center in a 15,359-square-foot building near Park and King streets.
According to the store website, hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday-Saturday and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday.
