Petra announced April 3 that Elase medical spa has signed as the first tenant at Grand Ocean, the new construction Class A office and retail project in the Beaches Town Center in Atlantic Beach.

Petra Vice President Elias Hionides said the three-story Grand Ocean comprises 25,000 square feet at 42 East Coast Drive, north of Coop 303 restaurant.

Amanda Richards with RESG Commercial Properties represented Elase, which leased 3,500 square feet on the second floor.

Petra is the leasing agent.

Grand Ocean, which will be completed this fall, has ground-floor retail spaces starting at 700 square feet.

Grand Ocean is about a block west of the One Ocean Resort & Spa in Jacksonville Beach.

Second- and third-floor offices are available up to 4,000 square feet.

Grand Ocean also offers full-time valet parking, terraces with an ocean view and designated bike and golf cart parking,

Elase, formerly known as Amara, offers treatments such as body contouring; facials and peels; injectables; skin resurfacing and lasers; and wellness.

This will be its sixth location in Northeast Florida. It also operates in Town Center, Avondale, Ponte Vedra Beach, St. Augustine and Fernandina Beach.

“A medical spa is an excellent use for the area as there is a lack of this type of services in a fast-growing and strong demographic area,” Hionides said.

“Currently, the office leasing is heating up with financial services and corporate HQ tenants looking at space. Retail remains available on the first floor with a diverse group of potential tenants seeking to be part of the dynamic Beaches Town Center.”
