Goodwill Industries of North Florida announced Aug. 13 it opened its second donation center in Clay County.

The new facility is in the Westover Station shopping center at 3555 U.S.17, Suite 5, in Fleming Island. It is only for dropping off donations of clothing, household items and other goods.

Goodwill also operates a donation center at 1605 County Road 220 in Fleming Island.

Both donation centers are open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

“The Fleming Island community continues to attract residents, and with the second donation center in this area we can better serve this growing neighborhood,” said David Rey, Goodwill Industries of North Florida’s president and CEO.

“The addition of this donation center comes at a time of growth for all our programs. Donations are a vital part of what fuels our mission," Rey said.

"This expansion reflects our commitment to making a positive impact in North Florida communities. Every donation truly makes a difference in someone’s life, and we’re grateful for the continued support of our generous community.”
