The Duval County Clerk of Courts now offers electronically certified documents for most documents in the official record.

These include marriage licenses, deeds, mortgages, judgments, claims of lien and satisfactions, among other document types.

“Our ability to offer electronically certified records is a game changer,” Duval County Clerk Jody Phillips said in a news release.

“We hope that giving our customers the opportunity to obtain certified documents instantaneously from wherever they happen to be, as well as the chance to print as many copies as necessary, allows them to get their business done as quickly and efficiently as possible.”

Electronically certified documents have a unique code and an electronic stamp and seal at the bottom of the document.

They can be authenticated at any time by  using a clickable link on the document’s cover page or scanning the QR code also found on the cover page.

When an eCertified document is purchased, the file will be available for immediate download via email link for 30 days.

When downloaded, the customer can print as many certified copies as desired.

Electronically certified copies of official records recorded since 1988 can be ordered through eCertify from a customer’s home or office.

These eCertified documents are accepted by federal and state agencies and should also be accepted by all other entities requiring certified copies.
