In orders issued from Dec. 14, 2023, to Jan. 29, 2024, the state Supreme Court disciplined 13 attorneys, disbarring one, revoking the license of three, suspending six and reprimanding three.
One of the attorneys practices in the 4th Judicial Circuit:
Emily Christine Williams, 2411 Cold Stream Lane in Green Cove Springs, is suspended for 91 days effective Feb. 12, 2024, following a Jan. 11 court order.
The court determined that Williams engaged in misconduct involving incompetence, inadequate communication with clients and lack of diligence in family law and guardianship cases.
Williams also entered a plea of no contest on a misdemeanor criminal charge.
