Low-cost carrier Allegiant will begin nonstop flights from Jacksonville International Airport to Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, and Knoxville, Tennessee, starting June 14.
“This expansion caters to passengers and communities we feel have been overlooked by other carriers,” said Drew Wells, Allegiant’s chief revenue officer, in a news release.
The Jacksonville flights are among 10 new nonstop routes to 14 cities, the airline announced Feb. 12.
The twice-weekly flights to Harrisburg International Airport are offered on Friday and Monday.
Flights leave Jacksonville at 2:28 p.m. and arrive in Harrisburg at 4:33 p.m.
Flights from Harrisburg leave at 5:23 p.m. and arrive in Jacksonville at 7:38 p.m.
Introductory one-way fares are as low as $49.
The twice-weekly flights to McGhee Tyson Airport in Knoxville are offered on Friday and Monday.
Flights leave Jacksonville at 8:28 p.m. and arrive in Knoxville at 9:48 p.m.
Flights leave Knoxville at 12:18 p.m. and arrive in Jacksonville at 1:38 p.m.
Introductory one-way fares are as low as $45.
Las Vegas-based Allegiant offers service from Jacksonville to Cincinnati; Nashville, Tennessee; Indianapolis; Washington D.C.; Flint, Michigan; Norfolk, Virginia; Belleville/St. Louis, Missouri; and Pittsburgh.
