Breeze Airways announced Jan. 9 it will begin nonstop service from Jacksonville to San Diego starting May 1.
The flights from Jacksonville International Airport to San Diego International Airport will be Wednesdays and Saturdays.
Flights to San Diego depart at 9:35 a.m. and arrive at 11:32 a.m.
Flights to Jacksonville depart at 12:18 p.m. and arrive at 8:06 p.m.
Breeze said promotional fares start at $129 one-way.
According to its website, Breeze now offers service from Jacksonville to 13 destinations. Some service is seasonal.
Service now available are flights to Hartford, Connecticut; Las Vegas; Pittsburgh; Providence, Rhode Island.

Breeze began flying out of Jacksonville on May 19, 2022.
Breeze also is adding nonstop service from San Diego to Cincinnati, Ohio; Pittsburgh; Raleigh-Durham; and Norfork.
