Jacksonville University announces formation of honors college

A philanthropic gift by Tim and Stephanie Cost is the catalyst for elevation of the school’s honors program.

Jacksonville University announced the formation of the Cost Honors College, named for JU President Tim Cost and his wife, Stephanie, in recognition of their philanthropic gift launching the college.

The Jan. 18 event took place at the Frisch Welcome Center on the JU campus in Arlington.

The Costs’ cumulative philanthropic support to the university now totals $10 million. The JU Honors Program will fully transition to the Cost Honors College by fall 2025.
