La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Jacksonville Butler Blvd. in South Jacksonville sold June 4 for $9 million.
The hotel, at 4686 Lenoir Ave. S., is near Butler Boulevard and Interstate 95 next to Cracker Barrel Old Country Store restaurant.
The buyer was Jacksonville-based JTB Hotel Group LLC. JTB Hotel Group is managed by Avenish Patel of Jacksonville and Kamlesh Patel of Peachtree City, Georgia.
The seller was Highgate Holdings, a hotel investment and management company in Irving, Texas. It sold the property through Cavalier Florida LP.
Built in 1997, the hotel sits on 3.14 acres. The main building is 65,221 square feet. There is a second 4,585-square-foot building.
The hotel features a convenience market, free breakfast, gym, meeting room and an outdoor pool.
