City permits $15 million Building 3 at Becknell Industrial in West Jacksonville

The 270,716-square-foot speculative warehouse joins two other buildings in the Westlake Industrial Park site.

With the first two warehouses completed, the city has issued a permit for construction of Building 3 at Becknell Industrial at Westlake Industrial Park in West Jacksonville.

Becknell Services LLC of La Grange, Illinois, is the contractor for the 270,716-square-foot speculative warehouse on 16.26 acres at 13171 Pritchard Road at a job cost of $15 million.

Craig Kouri Architect of La Grange is the architect. Kimley-Horn is the civil engineer.

The city issued permits in March 2022 for construction of the first two warehouses at costs totaling $30 million.

Becknell developed the 270,216-square-foot Building 1 on 24.38 acres at $12 million and the 419,280-square-foot Building 2 on 35.64 acres at $18 million.

Becknell at Westlake Industrial Park is a three-building project totaling more than 960,000 square feet off Pritchard Road in Westlake, where Southeast Toyota and BJ’s Wholesale Club, among other companies, have a significant presence. The park is west of Interstate 295.

Colliers Senior Vice President Guy Preston and associate Seda Preston comprise the leasing team.
