Indian market and restaurant planned at The Forum at Greenbriar

The businesses will operate across four units at the St. Augustine shopping center.

An Indian market and restaurant are in the preliminary stages at St. Augustine shopping center The Forum at Greenbriar. 

Chicha’s Cafe and Desi Pantry are planned across four units at the shopping center at 104 Ashourian Ave.

JEA is reviewing two service availability requests submitted Aug. 21 by Jay Madhavaram, who has a background in information technology.

An Indian market and restaurant are in the preliminary stages in The Forum at Greenbriar shopping center.

The businesses will occupy a combined 6,293 square feet. The market will be 4,036 square feet across units 109 to 111, while the restaurant will be 2,257 square feet in Unit 113. 

Neither is a chain, according to Madhavaram.

The 81,000-square-foot shopping center is southeast of the intersection of St. Johns Parkway and Old County Road 210. 

It includes a 57,000-square-foot office and retail building and an Atlantic Self Storage.

Other tenants at The Forum include the restaurant Zen & Ginger, Ponte Vedra Plastic Surgery, Pet Supplies Plus and Brooks Rehabilitation.

Jacksonville-based Ash Properties, through Forum At Greenbriar LLC 100%, is the landlord and developer of The Forum.
