“This branch is one of the 10 locations we referenced earlier this year and is expected to open in November,” she said.

The branch is at Longleaf Parkway and Pine Chase Way, south of Greenbriar Road, in Saint Johns in northwest St. Johns County. The site is north of Bartram Trail High School.

The shopping center is the Shops at Longleaf Pine.

Since January, three new locations emerged and another is moving to a larger building.

Dimon told news reporters that Jacksonville, with 20 offices, is an expanding market.

Chase Bank started to build a branch network for its Chase business in 2013.

Dimon said Jan. 31 the next expansion will include offices in low-to-moderate-income neighborhoods in Jacksonville and St. Augustine.

He said banks have an obligation under the federal Community Reinvestment Act to serve all parts of the community but he said JPMorgan would provide those services anyway.
