ArchWell Health in Arlington is the second Jacksonville clinic that the city has permitted for build-out.

The city issued a permit Sept. 16 for Hoar Construction LLC of Orlando to build-out an 8,250-square-foot building at 1072 Arlington Road N. at a project cost of $2.77 million.

The location is north of the Arlington Expressway.

For the first clinic, ArchWell Health started work toward opening in West Side Plaza in West Jacksonville after the city issued a permit Aug. 28 for the clinic to build-out at a project cost of $3.025 million.

Hoar Construction is the contractor and Earl Swensson Associates Inc. of Nashville, Tennessee, is the architect.

ArchWell Health is building-out 8,740 square feet of space at 5930-34 Normandy Blvd. in the shopping center at southeast Normandy Boulevard and Lane Avenue.

ArchWell has indicated interest in at least two other Jacksonville locations.

• In Southwest Jacksonville, the city is reviewing building plans for ArchWell Health to build-out a 6,873-square-foot space at 7628 103rd St. in Oak Hill Village at an estimated project cost of $2 million. The site is at southwest 103rd Street and Ricker Road.

• In Gateway Town Center in Brentwood, the city is reviewing a permit application for ArchWell Health to lease more than 13,500 square feet of space at 5000 Norwood Ave., Suites 4-5. ArchWell will build-out 11,795 square feet of space at an estimated $2 million and the rest will be for future use.

The West Side Plaza and Arlington properties are owned by Cardinal Management of Mattituck, New York.
