The Florida Council on Economic Education will present its 2024 First Coast Business Hall of Fame at noon Nov. 22 at the Hyatt Regency Jacksonville Riverfront.

The program will honor a new class of leaders comprising Eric Green, CEO of JaxPort; Jack Hanania, founder of Hanania Automotive Group; Joe Hinrichs, president and CEO of CSX; and Ari Jolly, vice president and assistant general counsel at Florida Blue.

“This event is more than just a celebration of extraordinary leadership; it’s a powerful reminder of the impact these individuals have on our community. By honoring their contributions, we not only reflect on their remarkable achievements but also inspire future generations to follow in their footsteps and continue building a brighter future for our region,” Jeanne Augspurger, event chair and Hall of Fame Class of 2022, said in a news release.

Since 1999, the council has honored business leaders from Duval, St. Johns, Nassau, Clay and Baker counties for their professional achievements and civic contributions.

Previous Hall of Fame members will attend the event which celebrates people who exemplify outstanding contributions to free enterprise, business excellence, inspiring leadership and social responsibility.

Across the state, the council’s K-12 programs promote critical thinking, entrepreneurship and personal finance skills in young people, building a bridge between what students learn in the classroom and how they apply it to everyday life.

Drummond Press and Raymond James are presenting sponsors. The Jacksonville Daily Record also is a sponsor.
