DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT AMENDMENT
The City of Jacksonville proposes to adopt the following ordinance:
ORDINANCE 2015-285 AN ORDINANCE APPROVING A DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT AMENDMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF JACKSONVILLE AND NEW HORIZON PLACE, INC., CONCERNING A DEVELOPMENT (CCAS NO. 70917) KNOWN AS “NEW HORIZON PLACE”, CONSISTING OF APPROXIMATELY 8.48 ACRES, LOCATED IN COUNCIL DISTRICT 13, ON PHILIPS HIGHWAY BETWEEN PHILIPS INDUSTRIAL BOULEVARD AND BUSINESS PARK BOULEVARD (R.E. NO. 168070-0000), AS MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED THEREIN, FOR A MAXIMUM OF 78,000 ENCLOSED SQUARE FEET OF GENERAL OFFICE USES AND 180,000 ENCLOSED SQUARE FEET OF WAREHOUSE USES, SUBJECT TO A PERFORMANCE SCHEDULE AND THE PAYMENT OF AN ANNUAL RENEWAL FEE FOR THE PURPOSE OF RESERVING TRAFFIC CIRCULATION CAPACITY, PURSUANT TO PART 2, CHAPTER 655, ORDINANCE CODE; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
The public meeting will be held on the first floor of the Ed Ball Building, 214 N. Hogan Street, Jacksonville, Florida, as follows:

The location of the above described property is generally on Philips Highway between Philips Industrial Boulevard and Business Park Boulevard. (R.E. No. 168070-0000).
The proposed Part 2 Chapter 655 Campus Development Agreement Amendment provides for the reservation of traffic circulation capacity on vicinity roadways to develop 78,000 enclosed square feet of general office and 180,000 enclosed square feet of warehouse uses; pursuant to the population densities and building intensities and height allowed under the following land use classification: LI
A copy of the proposed agreement may be obtained at the Concurrency and Mobility Management System Office located on the 2nd Floor of the Ed Ball Building, 214 N. Hogan Street, between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. A copy of the proposed ordinance and agreement are available for public inspection in the Legislative Services Division, located on the fourth floor of City Hall, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. All interested persons are invited to review the proposed agreement and ordinance and to appear at the public hearings and be heard regarding the adoption of the proposed agreement and ordinance.
Interested persons are advised that, if a person decides to appeal any decision made with respect to any matter considered at a hearing, he or she will need a record of the proceedings, and that, for such purpose, he or she may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based.
Persons needing special accommodations to attend any hearing noticed hereinabove shall contact the Legislative Services Division at 904-630-1404 not less than 48 hours before a hearing or meeting in order to make arrangements.
