Detour to the Acosta Bridge

The Main Street Bridge was closed Thursday

and will remain closed through next week, according to a Florida Department of Transportation spokesperson. The bridge is closed so workers can strengthen cables in the lift span. Repairs to the bridge have been ongoing for almost a year and should be complete in November. While the bridge is closed, drivers are being detoured to the Acosta Bridge.
