The new park on Main Street adjacent to the Main Library is almost finished. When it’s complete, 17,823 square feet of sod (a little less than half an acre) will have been installed. The $1.8 million park is part of Mayor John Peyton’s plan to make Main Street more pedestrian friendly from the Main Street Bridge to Union Street. Funding for the park came from the Florida Department of Transportation, the City’s parks and recreation budget and the City’s tree mitigation fund.

U.S. Senate:
Charlie Crist
Kendrick Meek
