Holland & Knight, Chamber host Irish

Business men and women from Ireland visited Jacksonville last week as the City and its business leaders try to develop relationships and part of the visitors’ trip included a dinner reception hosted by Holland & Knight in the Bank of America Tower.

Holland & Knight Partner George Gabel is international chair on the Jacksonville Regional Chamber of Commerce’s Board of Directors and was part of a group from Jacksonville that visited Shannon, Ireland in the spring. Brian O’Connell, chairman of Atlantic Way, which is similar to the Chamber’s Cornerstone initiative, was one of the key organizers who brought the Jacksonville group over to Ireland and was part of the group that visited from Ireland.

The group toured the Jacksonville Port Authority, Cecil Commerce Center, St. John’s Town Center and the St. Johns River during their stay.
