Jersey Mike's build-out approved
The City approved a construction permit for Blankenship Construction & Development LLC to renovate space for Jersey Mike's Subs at 3541 University Blvd. W., Unit 1. The $130,000 project is a build-out of 1,596 square feet. The location is at University Boulevard and St. Augustine Road.
Pulp OK'd in Avondale.
The City OK'd a building permit for Pulp at 3645 St. Johns Ave. in Avondale. Issa Construction Co. is the contractor for the $49,780 build-out of the 612-square-foot space. Pulp operates a juice bar in San Marco at 1962 San Marco Blvd. and Avondale would be a second location.
7-Eleven planned in North Jacksonville
The St. Johns River Water Management District is reviewing an application for a 7-Eleven store at northwest Dunn Avenue and Campus Boulevard in North Jacksonville near the Florida State College at Jacksonville North Campus. The developer is Dallas, Texas-based 7-Eleven. The company plans a 3,010-square-foot store and fueling stations on the 1.12-acre site.
A site summary indicates construction could start March 1 and be completed June 15 for a June 29 opening.

The City approved a wall sign for Fusion Sushi at 1550 University Blvd. W. Jax Electrical Contracting Inc. is the contractor for the $900 project.
