The City continues to review site plans for a 1,794-square-foot standalone Waffle House restaurant at 7652 Merrill Road. It will be near the new Dollar General store at 7700 Merrill Road and Robert's Quality Seafood at 7722 Merrill Road.

Hurricane Grill operates in Baymeadows

Hurricane Grill & Wings filed under the state Fictitious Name Law to do business in Reedy Branch Commons at 10920 Baymeadows Road. Premier Restaurants LLC, whose president is William A. King, filed the notice.

Annie Ru's receives license

A business license was issued for Annie Ru's Carry Out & Catering Inc. at 3909 Hendricks Ave. Clifton F. Daniels is listed on the license and on state records as the president. The address is shared with Annie Ru's "A Taste of Hastings" Inc., whose name was amended from Silk Creation Bridal & R&C Catering & Limo Inc. to Annie Ru's "A Taste of Hastings" Inc. in July 2011. Ruth Daniels is listed as president of A Taste of Hastings and Clifton Daniels is shown as vice president.
