Duval County Clerk of Courts Ronnie Fussell (left) united 19 couples in marriage Thursday in a Valentine’s Day ceremony at the Duval County Courthouse. “We listened to the feedback from our customers who said they would be in favor of a Valentine’s Day ceremony and it’s the biggest day of love for the year, so why not hold it on Valentine’s Day,” said Fussell. Each couple received a complimentary package that included music, cake, flowers and photos on a CD along with the standard $30 ceremony fee covered by local community partners. The event was co-hosted by Norman’s Flower Shop, Sivada’s Cupcakery and Bailey Publishing. The event also included one groom who had something in common with the day — Jeff Valentine.
