Southeastern Grocers is the parent company of Bi-Lo, Fresco y Más, Harveys and Winn-Dixie.
The new Harveys locations are located throughout the Southeast. There was a simultaneous ribbon-cutting ceremony at each location in Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina and Florida.
The company said in a news release that it tailored each new Harveys store to the needs of the communities it serves.
It said each new Harveys Supermarket is focused on delivering many ways to save with “Great Low Price” items and “Low and Staying Low” deals, which together offer more than 3,000 items at reduced prices throughout the store.
Jacksonville-based Southeastern Grocers converted 73 stores today into its Harveys Supermarket concept, including six in Jacksonville to boost the total number in the area to seven.
