Amazon.com is remodeling its North Jacksonville delivery center at a job cost of $865,815.

The city issued a permit April 7 for Travisano Construction LLC of Davie to make interior improvements to the existing 63,000-square-foot center at 11084 Cabot Commerce Circle in the Alta Lakes Commerce Center.

It is one of six Amazon properties open or planned in Jacksonville.

Internet retailer Amazon operates two large fulfillment centers in Northwest and West Jacksonville; a sortation center in Westside Industrial Park; and the North Jacksonville delivery center.

It is building out a delivery center at the former Kmart on Blanding Boulevard and plans a heavy-freight delivery center in West Jacksonville.
