Members of the Jacksonville Bar Association will select from eight candidates to elect by May 2 a president-elect and members for five seats on the organization’s board of governors.
The candidates are:
Fraz Ahmed, Michelle Bedoya Barnett, Elizabeth B. Ferguson, Michael Fox Orr, Seth L. Rothstein, Art Stresing, Cyndy Trimmer and Lindsay L. Tygart.
Voting is open to full, public service/governmental and judi-ciary members in good standing.
The ballot will open April 10 at jaxbar.org and will conclude with paper ballots that will available at 11:30 a.m. May 2, immediately before the association’s annual meeting and Law Day luncheon. Candidate qualifications and platform statements will be pub-lished April 9 in the Daily Record.
