Bryan Rendzio is transitioning in January from his position as 7th Judicial Circuit judge to partner at Ansbacher Law.

Appointed to the bench in 2019 by Gov. Ron DeSantis to succeed a judge who died in office, Rendzio lost his bid for a full term in the August primary election.

“Mr. Rendzio brings extensive experience as a mediator, arbitrator and jurist to the practice,” said Barry Ansbacher, founder of Ansbacher Law, in a statement from the firm.

Ansbacher said Rendzio will chair the firm’s St. Augustine-based Alternative Dispute Resolution Practice Group.

Rendzio, 45, is board certified by The Florida Bar in construction law.

He represents owners, architects, engineers, contractors, developers, insurance carriers and sureties in disputes involving insurance coverage issues, roof design, building envelope, water intrusion, general construction issues, mechanical equipment design and construction and design defects.

Also a certified mediator, Rendzio is a panel member of the American Arbitration Association and will accept matters as a private trial resolution judge as provided under state law.
