Bryan Rendzio is a new member of the Betty Griffin Center board of directors.

An attorney, arbitrator, mediator and partner with Ansbacher Law, Rendzio previously served as a judge on the 7th Judicial Circuit Court.

He received his J.D. from Florida Coastal School of Law in 2001 and is board certified by The Florida Bar in construction law.

The Betty Griffin Center was founded in 1990 and incorporated as the Safety Shelter of St. Johns County to provide services for victims of domestic violence and their children.

The nonprofit helps more than 1,000 victims annually, maintains a 24-hour helpline and emergency shelter, provides professional counseling and operates thrift stores at Julington Square and Anastasia Square to assist in funding the agency’s operations.
