Bob White, executive director of the Cultural Council, was the speaker at Friday’s Downtown Council meeting at River City Brewing Company. White talked about the Cultural Council’s latest work in Jacksonville and told members to contact their legislators to encourage them to keep funding art and cultural programs. The Downtown Enhancement Committee’s Hard Hat Loft Tour is scheduled for Saturday and the Skyway Party is planned for May 31.
